I like taking pictures.

Mostly of things humans did not make.

I try hard to make something special so if you like any of these pictures and want to add it to your wall that would be very cool.

I love taking photos.  To capture that moment when something special is happening. It started decades ago when my mom and dad took the family camping and we later got the slides developed for the family slide show. It was so fun to relive those moments projected up on the large screen with a bowl of popcorn in my lap.

Then in college I studied Geomorpholgy and always found myself in amazing locations so I decided to start taking photos again. At that point I was hooked. Over the next four years I took over 5000 slides while wandering all over the western United States and when I lived in Western Australia. In 2004, I moved to Las Vegas and continued to wander the west again but this time with a digital camera in my hand. I like to think this is the point I got “serious” about landscape photography. I began making special trips to locations in search of “that moment”. Sometimes I would spend days in the field and return with only scouting photos. I was always OK with this since it meant I got to return to that location at another point. Now days I shoot both digital and film mediums. Both have characteristics that make them special and the “look” is a matter of preference. But both capture those special moments that we all love to see.

My portfolio is varied and does have a mix of landscape, architecture and other styles simple since I think there are so many great subjects in the world. I hope you find a few images you like. But if you find something you love, please get in touch and lets get a print up one your wall. Even a 16“x20” can be something special in your room.

Thank you for having a look around my portfolio. New releases from time to time so stop by when you can. I hope you find something that you now or in the future. Thank you again and please enjoy.
